Meet the Founder: DJ Coach

Kgopotso Mmutlane, From a Shack in Limpopo to a Financial Thought Leader DJ Coach, born Kgopotso Mmutlane in 1995, grew up in Motodi Village, a small rural community near Burgersfort in Limpopo. Raised in a humble Christian household, he lived in a one-room shack with his family. They had enough to eat, but little else. He didn’t grow up poor in spirit, he grew up rich in ambition.

From DJ Booth to Boardroom

As a teenager, he pursued deejaying, eventually earning the nickname “DJ Coach Tsekeleke”. Despite his parents’ concerns, he turned late night sets into early lessons in branding, hustle, and self-reliance. His love for music evolved into a broader passion for leading and teaching others.

The Forex Wake-Up Call

In 2016, introduced to forex by a schoolmate, DJ Coach lost R15,000 in school fees on his first trades. Most would have walked away, but that loss planted a seed.
